Leo Davison

Leo Davison, President, Chief Executive Officer

Leo Davison founded Twin City Builders in 1983. His vision was to create a construction company that not only provides the highest quality projects, but to do so with absolute integrity, commitment to employees, excellence, customer service and teamwork. Today, Leo still provides daily leadership and maintains an active role in guiding Twin City Builders, Inc. to a quality, successful future.

 

Upon his discharge from the United States Marine Corp he attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated in 1971 in Architectural Drafting and Design.  Working with Pethick Construction Company for the next 12 years and in his present position he has been involved in all phases of General Construction work including: large commercial warehouse and showrooms; real estate development: restaurant construction; and the construction of multi-million dollar private residences. Leo provides a unique expertise in bringing together multiple disciplines to solve complex construction problems in a timely and efficient manner.

Estimating and bidding all aspects of a construction project. Planning and scheduling labor, equipment, and materials for projects. Project control and reporting of all job cost to meet the estimated cost.

 

 

Dawn

Dawn Davison-Monk

Dawn is the first and only licensed female general contractor in the City of Wilkes-Barre. She has worked for the company since 1993. She is a graduate of Hanover Area High School and attended classes in business management, architecture and building technology.

She directs the general contracting; project managing, construction management and design build components of the company. Working for this company for 15 years she has been instrumental in developing the commercial construction division. She has managed hundreds of projects ranging from 10,000 to 2 million dollars. Her responsibilities are the management of all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, including all estimating, project scheduling, customer relationships and profitability. She is someone who is detail oriented, and has a strong ambition to succeed.

Participating in many training classes, seminars, and on hands job site training, she has completed many continued education in her field. Some training classes include Auto Cad, Metal Building Systems, and OSHA training. Safety for her employees is on top of her list. She is constantly being educated on new construction materials, methods and techniques.
With 20 years experience she has the ability to identify and capture opportunities for savings and cost avoidance, for value engineering.

Barbara is in charge of all of our bookkeeping, payroll and taxes, and all accounts payable/receivable. Barbara brings her 20+ years of experience to manage our paperwork.
